Persons living with Disabilities

Dentist Anesthesiologists are specialists privileged to provide care for persons living with disabilities (PLWD). These may include any congenital or acquired psychiatric and movement disorders. Whether they are mobile or wheelchair bound, we are able to accommodate a wide range of physical and psychological abilities. We offer all dental options for PLWDs as we would for anyone else. 

Some examples of persons living with disabilities at our clinic are; Autism Spectrum Disorder, Seizure Disorder, Downs syndrome, Dyskinesia, Cerebral Palsy, Parkinsons, Alzheimers, ADHD, Neuralgia, Prader-Willi, Dravets, CHARGE, and others. 

Dr. Ji is a Dentist Anesthesiologist specialist and his staff are well trained and versed in the unique needs of PLWDs. Please indicate any sensitivities to sounds, sight, colors, smells, lights, or textures at time of consult scheduling. We will provide a quiet setting at both consult and treatment day without any other patients or clients.

Dr. Ji provides dental anesthetic care for at Mt. Sinai hospital dental clinic for persons living with disabilites and is a member of the Canadian Society for Disability and Oral Health.
